Already Have a Foundation Quote?
Get a Second Opinion on the Support Wall
If you've been quoted for bowed basement walls or horizontal foundation cracks, the engineered support wall — an interior structural wood wall, also called a PWF or reinforcement wall, built to a structural engineer's design — is often the biggest line on that quote. Send us your quote and any engineer's drawings and we'll quote just the support wall portion.
If you already have stamped engineer's drawings, we can build to them. If you don't, we can arrange the engineering.
Signs You Need a Support Wall
Horizontal Cracks
A long horizontal crack running across the basement wall shows the soil outside is pushing the wall inward. At that point, patching the crack will not hold — the wall needs engineered support.
Walls Bowing Inward
The wall has started to curve toward the middle of the basement. Bowed walls keep moving until they are braced or reinforced, and the movement gets harder and more expensive to stop the longer it goes on.
Gaps at the Top of the Wall
A gap opening where the wall meets the floor above, or the wall tipping inward at the top, means the wall is sliding in. That is a classic case for an engineered support wall.
How It Works
1. Send Your Quote & Photos
Send us the quote you already have, photos of the wall, and any engineer's drawings you were given.
2. We Review & Quote the Wall
We review the drawings and photos and quote the support wall portion on its own — a written, line-item quote.
3. Built & Permitted
An engineer-designed support wall is built to spec and taken through the City permit process.
