Push Piers Alberta
Your Foundation Is Sinking — And It Won't Stop
When a foundation settles unevenly, the damage is progressive. Cracks widen, floors slope further, and doors stop working. Patching the surface doesn't fix what's happening underground. Push piers reach through unstable soil to stable load-bearing ground below — stopping settlement and, in many cases, recovering lost elevation.
When Push Piers Are the Right Call
Push piers are best suited for structures that are actively settling or have settled significantly. They're used when the soil near the surface can't support the load — so we bypass it entirely.
- Foundation settled due to soft, organic, or fill soils
- Visible cracks in foundation walls or brick veneer
- Floors sloping or doors and windows binding
- Foundation movement confirmed by assessment
- Previous repairs that haven't held
How Push Piers Work
Assessment
We evaluate the extent of settlement, identify the cause, and determine how many piers are needed and where.
Bracket Installation
Steel brackets are attached to the existing foundation footing — no major excavation required in most cases.
Pier Driving
Steel pipe sections are hydraulically driven deep into the ground, through weak soil, until they reach stable, load-bearing strata.
Lift & Stabilize
Once the piers are seated, hydraulic pressure is applied to lift the foundation back toward its original elevation and lock it in place.
